I'd rather be kicked by a donkey every day for a year, followed by a quadruple root canal than shop for a car. Most car dealerships are some perverted version of a carnival full of morally-challenged hucksters, hustling a shell game that you will never win. Not so with First Rate Auto. Garrett and Jake are top notch humans who just want to help you find the car that is right for you. They don't have a dog in this race; they don't work on commission, so the typically built-in conflict-of-interest present with most car salesmen is completely absent here. Also, Garrett and Jake are just brutally honest about vehicles--no putting lipstick on a pig here. If you want to know the dirt on a particular make/model/type of vehicle, they'll tell you what they know. Period. They have 16+ years experience as auto mechanics.I got a deal so good here I had to slap myself to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I walked away (actually, I drove away) with a 2024 Equinox LT low-miler with original warranty remaining that booked out $2500 over what First Rate was charging for it. I drove off the lot with $2500 in equity even before my down payment. I'm so far ahead I can't even get GAP insurance on my loan. And then I got a crazy low interest rate from my credit union for buying here.No stupid games. No half-truths. No going in back to talk to "my sales manager" (aka the microwave in the break room). No hiding your keys. No magically changing numbers or moving goalposts. Just find the car you like, and they will help make it happen. Oh, and flat $250 doc fees.I will never darken the door of a car dealership again. Every car I buy until I die will come from First Rate Auto.

If I could give First Rate a 10 star 🌟 review I would. Buying a car has always been one of my lease favorite things to do, but Jake at First Rate changed my whole perspective. I initially heard about First Rate from WEOKIE and I called First Rate and Jake immediately answered all the questions I had and we scheduled for me to come look. Hesitantly I decided to go took a few cars I saw online. Upon getting to the dealership, I was greeted by Jake. As we spoke on the phone he stated he would be there to help but this dealership is a no hassle dealership, and he was correct. We were able to freely roam the lot to look at what we would possibly interested in. Pricing on all cars were on the windows and there was no surprise change in price when we submitted our application. I fell in love with a car on the showroom but Jake did not care to pull it out for me for a test drive. He knew I was extremely anxious about the buying process but his reassurance, ability to be down to earth, and understanding of how I was feeling turned it into more than a car buying experience. Trustworthiness and communication were top notch! It was THE best car purchase experience I’ve ever had and I will 110% be back for another when it’s time. If you’re looking for no haggle and honesty trustworthy people you have found your place!

Although I haven't purchased yet, I wanted share. Best vehicle shopping experience I've had since leaving my town of 35,000. Garret was great. No pressure, courteous, and quick to respond to my emails. The no haggle pricing takes the tension out of the process. Clean vehicles. Check them out.
